Nice B/W. Its about time I see some of your stuff. You should put those other B/W photos from slides on here.

AWESOME!!! I tried to do this before and only got one terrible photo of lightening.

I can almost hear the waves crashing into the rocks. Very nice. The horizon looks alittle tilted.

Very beautiful, I especially like the ripples. I've tried this type of shot with milk, but they didn't turn out to good. Nice job.

This photo is like a dream state of water. Very beautiful. I try to do as much nighttime shots as I can. There's something about catching night colors that intrigues me.

This is a very good still life. This one is a shot that you just have to center it. I don't think you could really shoot this any other way. That's where your artistic eye comes in and meets the photographic eye and you capture the correct image. Nicely done.

I know what you are saying. I couldn't get a better angle because it was too crowded on the pier (other club members) and I was trying to get that little cloud in the shot. The cloud kept on moving so I had to shoot from the hip. Also, one of the judges told me that sometimes it's okay to bend the rules alittle.

Thank you for the comments. Yes, this is one of only two peacock slides that turned out that day. The other one I got a score of 24 and it went to PSA for International Judging.

Thanks for all the comments. And yes, Chris L. that is my photo in Shutterbug. I had forgotten that I sent it in to them, until a friend told me that he saw it in there.

Scott,
Thank you for your comments. The ride on the right is the "Octopus". I do have it somewhere by itself, but it was earlier in the evening and it doesn't look as good.

Great shot. I did some fireworks before, but didn't have as nice of a foreground as you have here. Nice composition.

I would suggest fill flash for the sculpture and crop out the tree. Otherwise I like the church.

Nice shot, but I would like to have seen where the waterfall was going. Maybe see the water hitting the bottom.

First, thanks for the comments. As for as the composition goes this is more of a "record shot". I was told by many people to get a picture of this stairway because of its history. As for it in "journalism", I posted there because I'm in the process of writing an article for my camera club members about photo ops in New Mexico.
