Awesome photo. The contrast between the cloudy sky and the red rocks of the moutain sets the mood of the image. Just beautiful.

I like this photo. Very nicely composed with the foreground in focus and the rocks forming a leading line to the church. Well done.

This one is cool. It is like the color disappears into the fog also.

I like the leading lines in this. The lines in the bricks and the line in the center of the alley lead you into the dark. Cool.

First, I shoot at the Chicago Botanical Gardens also. Thanks for your comments on my photo of the balloon over the fog. It was added in PS to the fog photo. Our Schaumburg Area Photographic Society is a camera club in the Chicago area. If you would like more info send me an email to mwolf39@yahoo.com.

Very nice shot. I like the way you used DoF to blur the background. I don't think that the bird's head being a bit soft is an issue.

Over all, this is a very good photo and the even tones set the mood in the image. The only thing I would have done would be to crop it a bit more on the right side. The bright sky on the right side draws my eye to it and distracts me. I think you captured the colors very well.

Thanks for the comments. This is a picture of a lamp called "Eye of the Storm". It was shot in a dark room with only the lamp for light. I believe it came out red because the center of the lamp that emits the blue "lightning" is very bright.

I like this composition. The candle is causing a hotspot in the photo, but I know how hard they are to photograph. I've had problems shooting candles. I like the shadows on the page.

Great monochrome image, especially the way you stopped the crashing surf on the rocks, but yet you can see the motion elsewhere.
