Thankyou John, it's kind of you to say so. The best way I can explain HDR to you is to send you off to this site that says it all way better than I ever could. Found the site about a year after first shooting for HDR photos. All the best. http://www.vanilladays.com/hdr-guide/

Very expressive capture here Andy. Has me wondering what thoughts may be passing through the mind. The light in eyes is just perfect and really brings the photo to life and your processing is not over done it's just right. All the best.

Thankyou, much appreciated. It was a great road trip and the fact the other 3 guys I was with also were full-on photography freaks lol The weather really turned on a show for us over 3 days. Cheers

A wonderful atmospheric kind of photo. I agree with Doyle about the central position of the person but it is a minor point. I personally would have tried to get closer or to crop out the slightly distracting items in the foreground, but again a minor point. All the best.

Well thought out, I like the background to the card, the redness does give off a casino type of mood. Well done.

I have never seen this kind of dragonfly before, you've done an exquisite job of photographing it. Well controlled exposure here and the comp' is perfect to me. Great job.

Thanks so much for the response to this image. Never quite sure how the bracketed shots will look until they are actually processed together, it's what makes doing them so special I feel. All the best. p.s. I made an error when stating the lens used for this image, it was in fact my Canon 17-40L and not my Sigma 10-20 as originally thought. My sincere apologies for my error and for any inconvenience it may of caused.

It's funny how these HDR turn out, a bit of 'suck and see' involved as each one is a surprise until it's procesed. I'm starting to get my minds eye tuned into what may work and may not as far scenes go. The early or late light of the day is still the best IMO though, some things don't change in that regard. Thankyou for the positive feedback, it's much appreciated. To Arthur, this is my 2nd copy of the 10-20, the first one was exchanged as it had a strange clicking noise coming from within. This one is a.o.k. and cracking sharp with awesome color and contrast. All the best and thanks.

Outstanding vista!! It's up there with the best of this scene I have ever had the pleasure of admiring. The 17-40L has beautiful edge to edge sharpness in this shot and contrast is just super. A big cograts from me (-:

Kudos to you for taking such care in producing such a wonderful photo. The way you've framed it could almost pass as a giant sea shell. Gippsland is a wonderful area, hope you're in-laws got through the devastating fires this Summer without any losses. All the very best Pete
