As soon as you take a photo with a girl top off.... I get 85 views in less than 24hrs. this isn't my style of photography usually. tks for the comments.

I like it too, almost looks a bit like a salt print. I'm a big fan of the full-frame edges as well. I would however, prefer to see the outside border a true white when displaying. thaz jus' me. good job

regards,
Steven

Olivia
Weather's not bad, about -28 with the windchill. Good time of the year for people to crowd around in bars and take in live shows. Hilo kicks Hue-Jazz!! One of my favourites.

Cheers,

SDV

oops, I meant to say 15mm . Used the Tamron fisheye.

That is a very simple but amazing idea, hmmmmmmmm . You should elaborate on the technique . I would love to try it.

The Band is called Sonica. this was usewd for their upcoming debut CD "The Sound that fish make" All we were given was the album title and we had to pitch an idea to them, this is what we came up with. We shot this on a busy street, and cars kept slowing down, we thought there was going to be an accident. The police officer that arrived just laughed when he figured out what we were up to.

Thanks Becky. To answer your question, it's all original, just a great deal of PS work.

The Shadows are quite dramatic, even a bit too contrasty. That is the shadows are losing detail and the highlights are becoming blown out. I, personally, think the eye on the left should be completely in dark i.e. Split lighting or be completely shown. Technical stuff aside, I really like the treatment here. It does resemble an ancient noble greek god.
