My brothers race (mostly hill climbs and frozen lakes...yippie),but my little brother tried his hand as a navigator for one of the local racers. So whenever over at their houses we all watch the pro's (crazy people ;-) on cable tv. You inspire me to head over to Mt Washington,NH/USA for next years race and try to capture the action myself.
One suggestion (take it with a grain of salt)- try to capture the car on the right side of the photo. They say it's more interesting to see where the car is going and not where it came from (all though the flying dirt does show the action). I don't know, that's the "rule", and we all know they are made to be broken. Good work - can't wait to see more.

Funny seeing this same, almost exact style of shot in your portfolio to the one you critiqued of mine saying "not very interesting." I'll be a tad more fair then you were... I think the shot has potential... personally I don't think color ads to this shot. I think more crisp detail would weed themselves out in B/w...

I love the composition and the lighting Serdar... love most the expressive look on the face... Bit there is more sharpness on the negative, may be even more saturation... it is my favorit color negative film.

Interesting shot! Not sure what mood you were going for here, but it manages to be both somber (dark tones) and hopeful (looking up into the light) at the same time. I think I would edit out the logo on the jacket to not break up the black area. Good work!
