I Love the lighting and the tones. This has a very dreamy effect and well done and deserving of the award.,I love the lonely feeling one gets here. great job as i have tried photos like this and failed miserably so I am very impressed here

i love trees so this appeals to me for that reason right off the bat, but beyond that, this is so gorgeous. The light, the gentle foreground, the wispy moss and your courageous placement dead center in the frame make this image excellent. Nice job of waiting for the right conditions- I tend to do the same thing- notice something along an often travelled route and then wait for the light to get interesting. I must say I'm not a big fan of the large mat and frame, only because the posyings are so small on this site to begin with, and it takes away from the photo.

Beautiful and ethereal. Love the colors, comp, and exposure- worth taking the time to get a good scan (I too have always had problems with flat-bed scanners- one reason I went digital).

A sharper scan, I agree, but is there a loss in color contrast (in the water movement and the sky)? If so, I wonder why. I have had trouble with upload quality on certain images and can't understand why. A very nice shot both ways Chris! Thanks for your comment on my Buds shot. I strive for "different" images and I'm glad you appreciate it. Regards.
