This one really makes one think about the "what ifs and what happened". The tone of the image helps convey that sense of abandon and neglect that should not have occurred. You can tell it was once a most warm and beautiful home to someone. And now..."Somber". Well seen and conveyed Destinee.

Really like the interesting "eye" you've got! It shows up many times in your portfolio. Nice lighting, just enough to highlight the webs, but not so much that it blurs them. Nice to meet you Destinee...and thank you for your recent visit to the hawk! Regards--Bill Voizin

Thank you Destinee! There are several formulas for moving water. One is 1/10000 second to capture the spray. One is 1/15 second to reduce the sharpness of the water. Another is one second or more to get that cream effect. We should try them all and see what works the best. This shot is really nice. Good work.

Hi Destinee,

I have seen many of these shots, but this one is particularly good. Excellent exposure, and great detail in the rocks. I also like the fence and the trees at the top of the image, I haven't seen that before. You did a great job!

I like this, Destinee. Nice tones. It makes me think of fiery, molten fur. Surreal.

Hi Jim, thanks! I slowly crept up on the goose. He only turned his head when I clicked the shutter for the picture before this! I used a 300 mm focal length so I didn't have to get as close.

Hi Destinee (nice name !)

I like the mood of the picture. The comositionand the sky add to the dramatic effect.

Similarly to John, my first reaction was also "it could be better, if the base of the corss was included in the picture".

But hey, nice picture anyway !

Kind regards

Great image Anderson, the composition is pretty moody, nice feallings and good contrast, perchaps I could ask the bottom of the cross to be into the frame too but that has to do only with my personal taste and not an element of critique. Good job.
Best regards!
