Wonderful timing, Scott. I just wish it was sharper. Still, it has beautiful colours and a great composition.

I am a little distracted by the rocks in the lower right corner. Maybe if they had a little more light on them. But I love the color in the rainbow and the greens. They are very brilliant. Nice job.

This is a scanned print. The only adjustments made were crop and contrast. As I recall, the greens really stood out at the time, and angle of the sun seemed to really highlight this pocket. Thanks.

What did you do to get that intense saturation? Were there any digital enhancements, or was it this bright on print film? That color is pretty amazing.

Conceptualy I like this very much. I'd just like to see the tre a bit less centered and a less obtrusive frame.

Tripod would have helped sharpness too. But this is damn good for handheld.
Creepy looking little bugger.

a nice perspective - i think it could have benefited from a polarizer and a little wider angle - it does seem soft

Great photo, Scott. I'd like to see it sharper; it seems a bit fuzzy, probably from the scan. But it's a great moment; just what you would expect from any child in the circumstances. Brilliant timing.

Thanks Sue, and yes, she was just starting to jump. This was one of those rare shots (for me) in which I KNEW I had a good shot as soon as it was taken.

Hi, Scott. Welcome to Usefilm! Nice opening post. This is an adorable image with great impact. By the motion blur of her right hand, I'm assuming this is "in flight" towards the puddle? Nice job.
