Thanks for the comment Adrian. I simply held a red 25A filter infront of the lens of the camera. Since digital photographs shot in b&w with IR filters can give a dramatic effect, I figured a color digital photograph shot with a red 25A would give an interesting result.

hi ma! hey really, i like the darkness of it and your angle on the door is great. kind of creepy actually, you could have told a great horror story about someone chasing you and coming through the door as you were hiding and i woulda believed it! : )

Thanks for your reply. I had composed the shot originally with the signs to the right side of the frame and metered off of them, recomposed with the first meter setting. Otherwise, the signs would have been underexposed due to the sun.
