Thanks! I do children's portraits at a very low price and free for friends. Being able to photograph the kids is payment enough for me (most of the time). :)

Thanks! I was lucky to be there when I was. This is how it was shot, except I squared the cropping. I was actually shooting with one hand with my dslr, while holding onto my son with the other. I normally don't use autofocus and was concerned that everything would look horrible that day, but I got a few nice shots.

It was below zero and near white out conditions and he still had to go out on the balcony for his smoke. :)
I took this from inside sliding glass doors.

It's a joke towards my husband. He braves the cold to get his smoke outside since he is not allowed to smoke inside (I'm asthmatic). :)
Thanks for the comments!

I think it's a great close-up. Very sharp, good cropping and framing. Just one thing--what is that stuff going down the right side of the pic?

Great shot! The birdie looks larger than life in this worm's eye view.

Nice close-up! What a cutie! It would look great in an 8x12.

The bottom part of her face does look large. Perhaps a more dramatic angle by bring the camera up and looking down on her would improve that. I would also show more of her face and less of her shirt. Don't be afraid to go closer. Lighting and depth of field are very nice!

Beautiful lighting and tones. I probably would have brought her face down a little bit and cropped off more of her bottom part, but it still looks great!

Very nice exposure! This looks like it was a very difficult image to capture. Great work!
