Another fine Bluebird photo. Crisp sharpness throughout. I don't know if this is cropped from horizontal or vertical, but I would like to see more area to our left to move it from the center.

Minor nit aside this is an excellent shot!!

Beautiful capture. The DOF is just right to include the whole bird. I do see reflections from the sky in its eye. These fine details get lost in downsizing for web posting.

Very nice.

Nice photo of this guy. You did well to keep the eye and beak on a plane parallel to the capture sensor. The pond with the duckweed makes a nice BG. My suggestion for improvement would be to have a more natural perch. Very nice as presented though. :-)

300mm!!! 300mm with a 2x converter wouldn't get me this tight :^) I'll bet "Here kitty kitty kitty" isn't your technique for getting them this close either - is it?.

I like this very much. I like the way you framed Shadow with the leaves from the plant and the window. The image appears a little soft on my monitor but that is probably because it needed some sharpening using USM from PhotoShop (or the like). I'll bet the print looks just fine. This is very cool, keep up the good work!

I think that this image has some very strong elements going for it. The diagonal line created by the cat coming in from the top left drawing down to the flowers in the lower right.
I feel, however, that this image would make a more powerful statement if it were in color. The black cat with the white background would have given the B&W "feel" and the rose would have been more clearly defined as the primary subject having been shown in color. With the cat being darker than the flowers, the eye is drawn immediately to it. Even though the flowers are in focus.
Although this seems to be a chance opportunity, I have cats and I know that if yours is like mine the opportunity will present itself again.
Thanks for sharing. :^)

Fluffy's expression is priceless. The tight crop doesn't bother me. It gives the image(IMHO)an artistic quality that goes beyond that of an ordinary portrait. Very nice!

Isn't it nice when ALL of the elements come together like that? Nice shot, well composed. Hope the dog's owner likes it too!

This is a very nice behavioral shot. The mother sitting the nest protecting the brood from the rain. The leaves in the forground depicting the seclusion the parents chose this location for in the first place. This tells a very nice story. Thanks for sharing.

This is absolutely incredible. I love the way the lion emerges from the edges of the image. The look in the eyes, the lighting, the pose... I could go on and on. Very nice!!
