thanks for your words Pia.
i do climb... ocasionally.
but the photo was easy to shoot, i was on the ground and had a 70-300mm with me. only thing on my mind was the rock, the climber and the sky.

Hi Hugo,
nice to ear from you. been a while but i've been terribly busy.
this place is in Sintra, a mountain that goes all the way to the western-most point in continental Europe. The fact that it's almost on the sea, perpendicular to the N dominant winds full of moiture from the sea creates this particular Foen-like effect.
If you ever stop by I will gladly show you around. Promisse you will take better shots than this!

Awesome shot. Huge WOW factor, the tones of the moss covered boulders as well as the damp, green tones are superbly captured. Definately a great shot. Really like this one.

Hi Sergio, How're you? After having been away for quite some time myself, I thought it was about time to check up on your recent work... Finding you've been gone for quite some time too.... The grain and vignetting adds a very powerful and gloomy atmosphere. I like the way the footsteps create a guiding line, but I wonder if placing them diagonally could've created a bit more impact in the composition.
