I like the contrasty lighting and the modern, "city" feel of this one.

Nice.

Your lighting, framing, and pose has the model facing & looking into the light...kind of all fits. Great model, interesting face, neat looking mustache.

Hmmm, I wonder what blue eyes is thinking about...

I think selfs are very interesting - it's different to photos that others take of you. I like that one because you don't look straight into the camera. I'm not sure if cropping the head a little bit more would be 'better'... anyway, as I said, I like it

i love the subtle colors and the shallow dof, beautiful eyed too. left cheek looks a bit hot to me, but i guess it's a part of the design. cheers, slava.

beautiful tones, and indeed splendid magnifecent eyes. But with the crop the background is to light I think. Otherwise well done

This stuff is really great. Have to get me one. My scanner only does 35mm and I don't have the lab equiped for 120 but might be worth getting into..

Pat thanks for all the comments they are appreciated. Anyway to answer your question for scanning I am using an Epson 4990 photo scanner. The past few images have been shot using a Diana for the close ups and a Holga with a red soft surround filter for the overall shots. Then I have scanned them and placed them on top of a strip of blank negative that i scanned also. Hope that all makes sense.

oh very cool.. but I prefer the the second 2 the 1st one kind of looks ambiguous and doesnt fit in..maybe if her hands were doing something or if it was composed where the hands were more distinct.. just my humble opinion.
