This looks like something I tried and avoid, the parking I mean. Nice holga shot. Will have to blow the dust of mine and get out with it when I have some free time, whatever that is:( Hugs Jim

Hi. Your photo kind of explins what the real meaing behind Christmas is. At least according to Charlie Brown's thoughts in that classic cartoon. Now that you have reminded me there are so many family members and others on the list I have to step out soon and buy a few things. Take care brian

Hi Bea,
Well, malls with Macy's could be everywhere in the United States =) I'm glad you did that shot as it reminds me of the visits I did in the past to Carlheinz. The blocky building fits very well to the middle format.
best wishes, Thilo

The car in the front is in need of a paint job! Love that you are armed with your camera at all times :) I finally got a Holga, Bea! The first roll will have a few less shots on it as I advanced pass the '1' unknowingly and the 2nd shot I never took off the lens cap! A few others I forgot to advance and double exposed....I can hardly wait to get it developed ;( Such a confusing little toy after using digital ~ at least for my pea brain!

Must agree I like the idea...Leave the money home, but bring the cam. Don't hunt for treasures but go for the maniacs. HAHA. Nive shot, Bea!

Hi Bea,
I haven't been looking around Usefilm in awhile so I was snooping thru your work. Great stuff!
Eerie how there are so many cars and no people captured in this photo. :^0
I hope your Thanksgiving was good.

yes..Macy's is a big Holiday shopping store. The place was a madhouse..especially on Black friday (day after Thanksgiving). but I took this shot today..sat..which is still bad enough to go shopping.

Macy's is a popular place for a holiday I see! Interesting picture, a slice of modern Americana.

A holga shot in a parking with modern cars. A great contrast between the modernity of the cars and the tone of the shot.
