Thanks Louise and I love constructive critism. Tha'ts why I'm here at Usefilm and let me tell you, I've improved tons just being here and getting the great help from everyone. I too thought the hands too blown but couldn't fix them post photgraphing any better. Since then I've really been watching for this while taking the picture. I hadn't really thought of the fingers in the way you mentioned but I think I will try a picture with them tighter together and see what that looks like too. Thanks again! Angela

Hi Angela, nice light and expression. Seems a tad on the soft side. I would have tried placing her hands a little differently as they really command my attention and don't look that attractive. Keeping the fingers together and to the side rather than hanging like that might improve. A vignette around the edges would give this a nice look too and would tone down those bright hands. Hope you don't mind constructive critism.

Not too critical at all George! I so appreciate the comments. I had noticed the blown out hands myself and tried to fix them but couldn't get very far. The sunjust took all the information on the picture right out. As for the oversharpening, hadn't really noticed that so I will go and take another look and see about softening it down. Thanks again!! Angela

The model was an excellent choice. She is very photogenic, Angela. The titled composition and pose are fantastic as well. Having said that, I would like to respectful disagree with others who said that the image is sharp. It appears that the hands was the area of focus at the time the photo was taken, but unfortunately not the face. My guess is that you attempted to compensate for that by sharpening the face with photoshop. While it was a good try, it does look a bit oversharpened. Besides that, the highlights in the hands area are a bit blown out and could benefit from toning down. I hope that I didn't sound too critical. Good effort overall, Angela.

I've seen your other pictures, all are the beauties on their own, but for the one here you are the master of the ceremony. Sharp showing every detail of the model face and handling great her moods. The fotographers dreem. n.j
