Very impressive! I like the way this image has three main layers (sand, water, sky) It seems almost a touch abstract! Perfect exposure, the clouds look great. Superb work!

What an incredible scene. I think you positioned the tree in exactly the right spot. You're right about needing the space. Beautiful, moody illumination and exquisitely subtle colors. Outstanding.

Here again, Alison! I agree that the rocks on the right hand side could be removed, but if you need the space, and I agree that you do, perhaps cloning them out is the answer.

Such a very beautiful scene of a great sky & wonderful serenity !! the old silhouetted tree with the delicate few branches & the dark horizontal line in the distance enrich the perspective , Great colors & tones here!!

escucha y usa tu imaginación. A mí me parece que el arbol está mirando hacia la derecha como sorprendido y tapandose la boca con una mano mientras en la otra lleba sus bellas ramas, o tal vez sólo está con sueño y está bostezando

The horizontal format works well here emphasising the trees isolation.There's a certain complicity between the tree and the sky that is most effective.The sky's a bit overexposed but that doesn't really take away from the overall image whereas the dark intrusion on the right does!

Oh Goody, then I'll continue....The tones in this composition are fantastic Alison, just the slightest hint of colour to be seen and a beautiful lonely and forlorn silhouetted tree.
