Although the light was low, I think the light on the feathers is really beautiful! It may indeed be a good idea to make the overall image a little lighter as was suggested before.

Hi Arwa,
in PS CS2, there is a really good noise reduction filter. For CS1 or earlier PS versions, you need an external filter like neat image or other things. just try google with "noise reduction filter" =)

Hi Arwa,
reducing noise is not so easy. you need a tool that does that selectively. the best thing is to use a filter and then paint the noise reduction with the history brush of PS on the areas that needed the noise reduction.
best wishes, Thilo

I used high iso so I could increase the shutter speed that?s why its so grainy I tried reducing the noise but it felt as if im using some details along the way! Why dose that happen? I agree about the light!

Hi Arwa,
you may light up the image and reduce the noise as Margaret and Bint showed. besides that, the detail is great! so, you've a new lens baby? =)
Hugs, Thilo

Great capture especially since you took it from a boat! Jan is right, the exposure on these birds can be difficult. Well done. :)

Hi Arwa, I think Its very good, The dark lighting makes him look majestic. I think you got a wonderful shot of him, really great considering you were on a boat with a new lens. I dont even have a pic of one of these eagles yet! keep up the great shooting. Marcus

Good and bad. :) Good: inflight image that's sharp, nice pose so you can see its form and especially its head and eye, interesting light filtering through its feathers. Bad: it's on the dark side, and its grainy/noisy. Overall, the good outweighs the bad. Nice work. Keep shooting.

Arwa don't know enough about how to take the shot in te first place, Den is the one who uses he larger lenses and does bird shots in the air. But I have had a go to adjusted this - see what you think Margaret

Considering the cìcrumstances I don't think you could have done much better. The image is underexposed but at the same time the back of the eagles had is already almost overexposed.
The composition is good, focus is good, diafragma looks good all you needed whas the sun behind you instead of behind the eagle.
Sometimes you need a bit of luck too. ;-)
