Nice splash of red to provide an good anchor to the composition. I find the way that the one bloom at the right edge is cut in half a bit odd. I think it would look better w/o that bloom because it makes me want to see more of the area to the right. Cutting it off would provide an "even" area of red, and actually a slight lean into the frame, that would keep my attention in the frame.

I was going to say you must have a Canon. I really like Bodie out that way. I will go back and photograph Mono Lake sometime but I'll do it from the south shore instead of the north. Looks fine like the image. The splash of red works well.
