About An old abandoned liquid storage car for the train system that runs through the town here. I played with it a lot in my photo editing software to make it look old. I'll post the original photo so you can see what it used to be like

Tell me what you think!

I have been a trains fan just about all my life. There is a private railroad in my community which is about to fold unfortunately. I really like this photo and it has a great mood about it.

Hi Kevin,
I like the composition. The weeds growing through the tracks and the tire in front. The surrounding buildings and the train all look fine to me. The only thing that doesn't look right to me is the sky. (This could be my graphics card though and may not look the same on other peoples screens)
Sometimes I have to check an image on my son's pc before I post it just to confirm what most people will be seeing.

Hi Kevin, Just fantastic. I really think you've made the shot with the Changes.
Cheers, Liz.

Here's the original. I cropped it, desaturated it, increased the contrast, added a blue tint to the midtones, and then I duplicated the image twice to make two semi-transparent layers, one with old photo blotches and one with extremely high contrast and a gaussian blur (32 pixel radius). I rather like the effect it gives, what do you think?
