About
While we're on the motif of powerlines and industry, here's another photo of power lines (and telephone lines) just 5 minutes from my house. You'd never guess it from the photo, but there are houses on either side of the frame.
I made it black and white using a filter in PS, and tweaked the image beyong recognition with contrast and a second translucent layer of high-contrast blur, which makes it feel all glowy. I wanted to make it feel like a very old photograph, and I think it worked pretty well.
And you succeeded in giving us this feeling Kevin... at the first look I thought it was an old photo. Excellent ps work my friend, professional work, Khaled.
It has indeed the look of an old photo, very nicely composed, the grainy effect is great Many thanks for commenting again on "Painting by nature" Best regards
It does look like an old photo, but the sky gives away the fact that it isn't. I've yet to see a B&W photo produced from a digital original that captures the look of grain. Nice try, though! We have pylons marching through our area so they often figure in my pictures. Mixed blessing!
