Dear Gayle, Real nice composition here (as so many of your images have) and nice balance. Never heard "hang a Louie" before but I just read further down that you grew up in the south so maybe it was more southern (or maybe it's slipped out of my memory bank). When I see Louie I think of Louie Louie (but that wouldn't fit with the shot I don't think). Like your E-mail ad.See you're in to Jimi and Van the Man on one of your shots. nice one gayle...indeed a symbolic shot. this bridge looks familiar, you've shot it before right?

the combination of the left turn sign and the bridge creates a great symbolism. love the blown out background. very focusses view.

coincidentally,it is pointing at a FAX sign! hehehe...i don't remember,but i have a fairly recent image under "people" in my portfolio that has a guy walking with a red gas can on the road that sign points to...maybe it is just pointing to him??????..LOL..peaceout,baby!

When I go out I just say .... FAX ME BABY!!!! no not really hahaha......love the contrast on this one and I want to know what the arrow is poining at even though it is a road sign...looks as if the bridge leads to something cool and the arrow is there to point it out.......and your not letting me see!!!!...haha I love photography!
