I know. I was hiking for some hours in Yosemite and came around a big stone. And suddenly there there was the lynx. We both were surprised by this sudden confrontation an watched at each other for maybe a second or two. Then the lynx silently disappeared. I had a camera hanging around my neck but there was no way to take a picture.
Unfortunatly there are not many lynx in Germany, maybe some in Bavaria.

Nice lynx shot. Great wildlife shot. I love lynx pics since I visited Yosemite 10 years ago. I saw lynx in the wild 10 feet in front of me. Don't know if that happens often. The lynx seemed somewhat surprised. And I for sure too.
