Hello Telmo - the magenta was there that early in the morning, the sun was rising and a magenta (pink) colour with a little blue where colouring everything. :)

Great capture. I loooove the snow and try to get pics. I've got scads of failed attempts, it's so hard to capture it's magic. And it does all kinds of strange color jobs on my digital..lol. You've inspired me to keep trying.

I prefer this one as it has more detail, clearer, you can see the depth of the snow fall and more to look at. Difficult to shoot snow and you seem to have no problems with it...well done Miss.

The midnight sun is no longer... the rise is just after the children are off to school... but this one is quick to act and click... and only regret that the long winter is already here... and this bench will spend long dark nights till it is warmed by the sun next year... and by bottoms of lovers and children...
I do believe that the tone is correct... Well done!

i love the clean lines and negative space in this image jeanette. the previous image is strong but this one has more dynamism with it's oblique lines running through the frame. i also like that there is just a touch of texture on the back of the bench that interrupts the rest of the smooth tones in the picture. fine work cheers russ

Absolutely pristine! I love everything about this photo. Emotionally it conveys emptyness. I like how you've managed to capture the light at just the right exposure and time of day to make it feel frigid without blowing out the whites. Most excellent job!
