I do not know what they are called but when you get too close the featherlike branches quickly get sucked into the stem. This was taken with my Olympus 5050 and the Olympus underwater housing in shallow water (6 to 10 feet). Thanks for the compliment. I always correct the pics with Polyview which I ave loved and used for a long time.
