Nice shot, Teunis, though I think I would have cropped it to get rid of the pylon and cables. Kind regards, Chris

Gorgeous. I really like how you have included the electricity towers in the background. It links the natural with the reality. Judi

Ik vind het een erg mooie observatie Teunis, goede foto met fraaie lijnen en schaduwen. Waarom heb je de bovenkant er niet afgehaald? Groet, Ted

Wonderful shot . . . The electrical towers and lines and the buildings in the background make a subtle but telling counterpoint to the lovely moment in the foreground. --george

Dearest Teunis,
i really appreciate this swan Family Serie!!! ...it's in my Favorite!
i really found "the strange world" very appropriate, as You mix in a high qualified way, the gentle curves of river, the majestic ride as the Family swim away from the river bed and how the so called "Progress" comes to our Lives without asking if this Energy tower pollutes our sight and take away the pure glow of the poetry in Pictures found by You, skilled Photographer!
it's really amazing and i really enjoy all about it!
You are a Master!!!
Groetjes, Regina

A good story, Teunis. I would suggest cropping the top, sky and horizon, eliminating the tower structure and concentrating on the birds and nice curve of the canal.

I like the lines,/ curves in this one, it looks so like a painting, but I would have had to have cloned out the pylon,I know it is in the 'real' scene though. Margaret
