Hello Bianca , a good job with PS , nice effect with strong contrast , BUT I really like the original much much more , Bianca my center of focus in the cpature is the eyes and it's expressions which I can see it better in the original in such deep thinking moment.

Thank you for your comment in my last photo "Waiting" , you went to real subject which is the human touch with the lady , I thought other viewers will get that , but most of them wrote about the composition and lighting which is good comments but not the really message inside me al least , may be the problem is my photo that focus more on the background and the environment of the place ,,,, ant way sorry to mention that in your photo but I aam stil new in usefilm and can not find a place to replay ! ,, also sorry for my bad english.
Best Regards .......... ~~ Hassan ~~

Yep you see, much better. Those eyes looking (disappointedly?) around my back - for something I've done wrong? Makes me want to shuffle across to block your view, or maybe that's just my guilty conscience! ;-)

PS: The Margate in Kent, England has a very long history as a village on the English Channel coast and was associated with the ancient "Cinque Ports" named by King Edward in the 11th century. It's now a very tacky seaside resort. It's also in the recent film "Last Orders" with Michael Caine.

Richard,

My goodness! Really? Huh. I just though it was so boring in its original state... Maybe I'm more critical of my images than I need to be. I'll keep these suggestions in mind. Thanks guys.

For Chris,

Because he wanted to see the original. Heavens only knows why.

Yeah, the filter is an interesting effect, but original photo seems like it could easily stand on its own and didn't really need it.

Nice job, though I wouldnt mind seeing catchlights in the eyes. Just personal preference.
