FANTASTIC. What a wonderful capture of these two goldfinches having an altercation :) They look perfect set against that lovely background buzz. The detailing in the defender is amazing and there is just the right amount of blur in the attacker. You could not have done any better even if you had been able to hold a photo shoot conference with them and told them what you wanted them to do. Goldfinches have to be our most beautiful birds Danny and this is a shot to be proud of.
I used to use the 100-400L lens my friend, it's a beauty isn't it? It just got too heavy for me to carry around and now, like my 28-300L, I miss having them. Perhaps I ought to hire the equivalent of a golfer's caddy  Best wishes to you.
