Hi David - I'm just so delighted and flattered that you took the time to show me your take on my shot. The monument is 41m high so I was actually trying to show the height. Aw thanks so much my dearest, darlingest Ray! :-) He has a great view right along George Street to Charlotte Square where his hoose was. I think he had a few pennies....although the RBS p*ssed him off too as their offices (behind this statue) were apparently where he was going to build his mansion - someone beat him to it! (perhaps before RBS were the residents though! I guess they can't be blamed for everything eh?! ;-) ) Topical too huh?! Yep it's all here! Lol! ;-) I obviously need some sleep! really rather big hugs and kindest regards my friend. Jo x

A lovely combination of Springtime and history my dear Jo with beautiful tones and great details to those lovely early flowerings. I love the daring perspective you chose sweetie.
