Hi JD , so sorry about the abreviation - I was thinking you were Americanized as 'we' tend to have toooooo many slang words and now photo lingo abreviations as well- DOF = depth of field .... any others just ask me , I know there are several :)) Cheers for now my dear , Michele~

Georgous bird and ...and SHOT JD :)) Perfect colors , textures, and surprisingly pose :) Ha!!! How can such a beauty eat You out of house and home (?) LOL - He/She is a beauty for sure- one of your finest shots, and love the DOF as well ...I just had to add that -

When I was living in Auckland the lorikeets were becoming quite common. They breed like wild rabbits......there are also Kookaburras around the northern suburbs of Auckland, and Wallabies both in the north and south island - it seems that we export our people across the ditch and you export you animals.............

Thanks Mike. I think we discussed the variation between NZ and OZ lorikeets. It's more than difficult to 'freeze' them as they are always moving! This shot was untouched except for cropping. Cheers Mike JD
