YEAH, Lyrics are Seek and Destroy, my the most beloved one by Metallica but the titel is another song by these wonderful guys! Tuesday´s gone is just shortly said how pity it´s that last tuesday is really gone. ´Cause last Tuesday I saw them playing live again!
The portrait is very expressibe, very powerful, Olga-Eva! Even the overexposed parts on the cheeks add to the rather "punkish" look and feel - and with "punkish" I mean the many typical photos on rock albums of that time, when the young groups just avoided to appear a "rock stars" on the album covers. So, it matches your subject very well, since there is much hidden influence of punk in the metal bands since about 1980. (Even if the metal bands don't like to hear that! ;-))
There is a certain amount of schematic representation on the image, like for example some parts on the light reflections of the hair, or the eyes. The strong light just stomped on those parts but also left enough deep shadows. (BTW, did you used a flash?) Anyway, it seems like a portrait of indifference coupled with a theatre atmosphere. Quite interesting in its own way.
And of course I am very glad to see also some portrait without those "soft and nice" tendencies that flood this forum. A real face at last, that is! ;-) So I can't be perfectly objective here.
