About A special thanks to Aiman Nassar and John Dromantas for their suggestion about making a landscape abstract out of a previous post (-27-). Aiman recognized -27- from another site to which he had made the same recommendation. Me? I was caught in the act of trying to make two interesting compositions out of the same image. Both Spacescape and -27- are from a shot of a protective metal plate on a telephone pole in a busy alley. Delivery trucks have scraped the metal to create the pattern.

Art, pure art and nothing else, sharp eye, brilliant mind, perfect capture. How you find these abstracts, a total mystery, never to be revealed or imitated.
Stunning, absolutely stunning! To my favorites.
Congratulations from a humble admirer, Alex

my favorite colour is blue and I see many shades of blue in this photo, the beauty of abstract is that you can create distance between yourself from the situation you're in. What a great photo.

Hello Harlan.
Very original and a beautiful colored abstract! It keeps the mind busy looking at it.... not boring at all! Great job.

You're right, a simple rotation completely transforms the image. Great work.

I think I told you before Harlan I like this one at any angle. I use to make delieveries in San Francsico and I know what it like to scrape something. I'm not sure but didn't you have this one on photosig or is this a new one.
