A close up of some very fine sun flowers in a field near Aups, Provence, France taken just after sunset when the sky had blushed violet. Sun flowers seem to enjoy water and sunshine in equal measure note the cracked muddy fields. This beautiful area is at its radiant best when backlit by strong ambient light a little bit of oomph is added courtesy of a white reflector.
interesting "about" and useful information. i try to take photos of sunflowers when i can, but usually i find the wind is blowing too much in the places i've been lately. will hope for better luck next time.
these ones are very colourful and the sky is nice as a backdrop here. well done ian ~ james
Beautiful picture. I appreciate that you explained your technique. I took a look at your Transient Light site. Your talent is outstanding and your honesty to the true colours of the beauties of Nature is a treat. MAry
