Hi ed, thank you for your comment. Yes this is real light and definatly a surreal look. Mammoth hot springs in general is like being on another planet. For the image that I actually printed I cloned out the tree branch on the far right. I found it to be distracting. I wanted the image to be about the little dead tree.
This is color from sunrise, and I used a GND filter and probably a polarizer too.
