:))) OHHHHHH!!! I just love Tigers... I love how your skin ripples and goosebumps when they give those deep earthy rumbles... Even to here them just breathing is magic... The power in those majestic frames...:)))
Wonderful Doyle... LOL... As the others have said... you seem to elicit the *tongue* response a bit lately... :)))
Under the circumstances a nice natural shot and like Annemette, love the light/shade, more natural and blends...:)))
Excellent again Sir, Mr N G...:)))

Many thanks brother . . . background, I don't have to tell you, is VERY important. Poor BG makes great shots average while a good BG can make a good shot great! I usually check BG before anything else! Gotta get the angle and wait, eh? Not unlike the timing in the sunrise and sunset shots! :)

Lovely tone, DOF and expression. Looks like there was probably some post work recovering from a shadow in the tigers face. If so, great job. I always have a problem smoothing out shadows. Super job and Great work!

Nooooooooo! The King of Cool SHOULDN'T have problems!!! You are so right!! These animals need to learn when to stop and when to turn . . . pose - roar - whatever I might need . . . but LOOK! They're not 'with the program'!! (Hmmmmm . . . maybe they don't speak fluent King of Cool)? In fact - the Bud Protection System Tiger was clearly thinking King of Cuisine!! Yikes!
Think I'll write a strongly worded letter! :P Thanks Michele . . . you're always fun! :)

As a matter of fact Tim . . . I believe it IS a 2 keg beer pond (a stream trails to a larger water area) . . . and at least one keg is floating in the lower water area. Though the big guy DID get in the water and pull it out! Thanks for the comment . . . I completely neglected the ND filter in my bag because I had already been shooting in the light fine; and didn't have time as he strolled (non-stop) through this area . . . towards the keg. At any rate . . . hindsight has been 20/20 for some time with me!!

Hey good shot...yes i can see this would be a tough shot without a ND filter. You really get the feel from this guy, that he is hot and some shade would be the best thing next to having a cold beer. That is a beer pond isn't it?
