I like the quiet and simple feel to this silhouette. The shoreline forms a pleasant S shape and the water texture is quite novel! Compositional placement of the bird is perfect, Jerry!

Hi Jerry - I like how you've placed the Sandpiper in this shot. Re: Under a Giant Oak, I will likely return to take shots of areas not yet visited and the headstones under the oak will get revisited. Thanks for the input. I did clone out the 'wing' on the oak in another version which I leave here for your consideration.
