Hello Craig,
my Shen Hao is great entry level camera.
It's not a professional (and heavy) view camere but it has all the movements that can enjoy a photographer :)
It's light and strong enough and very user friendly. I've also bought lately an Arca Swiss F that is light too and with much more movements that frankly I've never used because my lenses can be shifted max 3-4 cm. The mechanics of the two cameras is an abyss, Arca Swiss is a professional camera and all the movements are smoothed but if you need to take panoramas or have fun with your view camera then Shen Hao is a good option.
What I would eventually suggest is to consider another chinese camera that I've seen and it's very interesting. It's lighter than Shen Hao but strong too and very well hand crafted. It's called Chamonix. The bellow is longer than Shen Hao and it's incredible how it is light!

molto vicina all'arte pittorico-descrittiva, e come sempre eseguita con maestria.... Bravo giuliano!!!
Guardandola bene, che con il mio monitor è difficile, c'è una luce molto bella, tanto da farmi capire perchè l'hai scattata.

quelle pennellate nel cielo se lo meritavano tutto quello spazio..è bellissima...non so' perche' ma appena l'ho aperta me la sono immaginata con la neve e con la slitta di babbo natale in cielo...deve essere l'atmosfera natalizia che ormai irrompe con tutta la sua magia...ripeto..bellissima..ciao giu'
