High voltage power lines forming the National Grid in England and Wales can carry up to 400 kilovolts (400, 000 volts), these disks may have a calm air about them as they insulate the cables and its deadly cargo from travelling back down to earth, yet what a sting they hide in their innocent little tails

Think I've mentioned what it is in the about... not sure what it is called but it is found on powerlines just as they meet the pylon x

I would never have known these were powerlines! The lighting and the colour makes them too beautiful to me!
