About I am still getting used to the narrower field-of-view of my digital camera. I feel a tremendous gap between the 18mm end of my zoom and my 10.5mm fisheye. Looking back, it seems that the majority of my past shots were taken within this range! Ooops!! What's that black line along the top. Hmmm. To repost or not to repost, this is the question.

Well done Roger this is really good. If this was my shot I might clone just the tip of the left peak pole so it doesn't look like it's been cut off. Just a trick to keep in mind.

been away for some time moving around a bit and now settled into Victoria B.C. So I thought I would see what you have been up to. I have always been interested in this type of architecture and even with the narrow perspective you have created a interesting image.

Don't worry about the black line my friend.
Joe Ciccone gave you an idea in the very first shot that you had already carried out. Stand back a little way and fit your subject accordingly. Always check for rivers and cliff edges first:):)
This looks most majestic and the slightly lower perspective looks great Roger. Wonderful colour tones to this beautiful Japanese architecture. All the best......Ray
