This is a nice photo, John-Eric!
I like the rich colors glinting from the feathers, and it contrasts with the rough post they're standing on. Certainly a decisive moment capture.

Hi John-Eric,
Quite a funny photo; and a nice imaginary relation with human behaviour - it places things into perspective... A person screaming, trying to be imposing, and another person seemingly shocked, looking unimpressed and even somewhat arrogant... The never ending male - female discussion, can't decide which is which, though. Instinctively, I'd go with Ray: female nagging husband, but I think in nature it's more vice versa...
As to the photo and image quality, I'd like to see a bit more textures and details in the darkest areas of the screetching birds' feathers. Other than that, a fine, crips image, very well captured.

Great shot, my only complaint is all the males thinking that it is the female doing the complaining. Look at the way the "quiet" one is looking at the other one....that is obviously a female "look". Honestly you have done a great job on this shot and captured the perfect moment. The screwhead in the bottom is great to show a size relationship to the birds. Wonderful colors and detail.
