About The whole “Denmark vs. Islam” situation was fed by the media…personally it was a guidance, to learn more read more about our prophet instead of building new enemies
This is dedication to everyone who did the same, many wont agree with me but love cannot exist with hate

Arwa, it is a nice image with good lighting.

About your discussion, I should mention that STILL many people in other part of the world, connect Islam with terrorism!!?

For instance I put the following image:
http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1059699 in another photography website (www.photographyreview.com) with the same description which I put it in the Usefilm site.

THEN few ignorant and narrow minded dogmatic people started complaining about my image that I try to spread 'terrorism' in that site !!

THEN few days later I received the following email from that site:
=================================================
Date: Tue, 28 Mar 2006 13:48:59 -0800
To: kombizz@yahoo.com
Subject: photographyreview.com photo category change

Kambiz,

We felt that your photo, titled "Allah (God)", was more appropriate
in a different category. To view it, and to find out where
we moved it (look in the upper left for the category name), visit
this link:
http://gallery.photographyreview.com/showphoto.php?photo=27532

Thanks!
=================================================
In another words, they deleted (!!) the description of those verses of Quran WITHOUT my permission because they thought that those verses scatter TERRORISM in their beloved site!!!

>> IN FACT if you go to that above link, there is NOT any traces of my photo !!

THEN later on they put my image under another page WITHOUT my description:
http://gallery.photographyreview.com/showphoto.php?photo=27533&password=&sort=1&cat=500&page=1

I think what we need is to RECOGNISE and LEARN rather than HATE and being dogma!!!!!!!!!!

You are right Arwa, the media has a very important part in this. It's a start when we start to respect each other.
This is a very nice picture with nice colours only I think when you make a square of it, it will make the picture stronger. regards, Femke

Dear Arwa, I like when people use art (photography in this case) as a way to express feelings. I do it a lot myself and some people like it and others don't. I really like what you did here. As far as the situation you spoke of I think Saeed from the UAE said it best that it's all about respect. Why certain countries feel other countries should be like them I can never understand. I might not agree with everything a country or religion does (Be it Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, or Buddist) but it's not my business to tell others what to believe or how to live. Remember about Denmark that it was just one idiot that worked at a newspaper that showed no respect to the Muslim religion and the people. I think you are doing the right thing with your energy. It's serious but don't give an Idiot in Denmark with no respect any power to bother you. He wants to bother people - don't give him power. Mark BTW Very pretty fingers/ hand :~>(+ the lighting is very nice)

oh woww, a wonderful thoughts from a wonderful person, you said it is easier to love than to hate, it is only because you are a wonderful person, as alot of people have difficulties to love and it is easy for them to hate, the image itself is excellent, and the meanings make it even more strong, i am really proud of you, proud to have someone like you by my side

Arwa:
A wonderful thought that accompanies an outstanding image. The composition in this image is great with all lines (hand, book, cloth, etc.) all working together to draw the viewer's eye into the composition. The tones are warm, even glowing and rich in color. The writing, like Morgan mentioned is beautiful and I'm not sure this capture could be improved. Congratulations on a superb image!

Doyle I <-----

It is serious
but instead of using all that energy into protesting or violence I made the choice of channeling it into loving the prophet more instead of hating a whole nation it just dosent make sense plus its easier to love than to hate :)
thank you for passing by! :)

First of all - gorgeous shot. The tones are beautiful. Composition is excellent. I have always been fascinated by the written Arabic language. It has such a beautiful look to it.

Second of all, it is SO NICE to see a person, especially one from Saudia Arabia, who has such a level-headed view of the Denmark situation. Too many people take things like that too seriously.

I'll make sure to take a look at your portfolio.

-Morgan
