Very dramatic shot with a lot of impact. VERY well framed, and the sky adds a nice feeling, sort of as if the Sphinx were gathering it's wrath....
I particularly like the way the arms disappear into the edges of the shot, it gives the illusion that the creature is enfolding you in it's claws. Superb work Salvatore, this is one to remember.

Hi Sal,
It's virtually impossible NOT to make the reference to the film the Mummy (unless you haven't seen it of course). I like the very strong perspective in this one, as well as the mood that surrounds it, created by both the subject as well as the contrast in the sky. Good shot.

I've never seen a better photo taken of the Luxor than this one.
The B & W photo with the dark cloudy sky really sets the mood for this photo.
It looks more like the really thing than a hotel on the Las Vegas strip.
