Andreas, you can try everything with your own images. In this case sharpness or unsharpness is not a question by camera - it's a question by handling - simple the image is shaked. Of course I tryed with PS filters but I did not like the results so much. And I am sure one day I will get sharper ones without filters!

funny. people buy expensive cameras (zero 2000) for sharp photos, but they like more the unsharp versions, that you can get with a (cheap, very cheap) plastic camera :))) - really I would think about and try another scan with the unsharp mask. I guess you would get fantastic details f.e. on the shadows of the fence on the snow ... the rather unsharp areas would be the moved ones (smoke, tree, person) - and that would be nearer to the philosophy of pinhole, too ...

The sharp version is nice too. But for my opinion I like the soft and unprofessional version more. : ) I like the taste of incompletely ...

Franck, you are right - some USM makes the effect of the floating light even stronger - hehe and the shadow of the fence on the path ... cool that you got it even with the webversion ...

Margot, hope you don't mind if I did a little sharp work with your shot. Here it is, it appears to me even craziest.

Thanks for your comments Margot.... I love that one that I took that day... I have another from the same location as well. If you read about it you will see just how hard it was to bring it all to you viewers. Those Zero's sure are nice looking though... Maybe one with a zone plate would be cool... maybe yours also has one or can be equiped with one as those are neat. Hope to see more of your pinhole works.

unbelieveable, people make lenses from glass, in other times from plastic to show the light the right way to the film, to focus and so on. But a simple 136f hole is enough to see the world, a mother with her child, smoke from a chimney, Fritz Fellner's house, other houses in Freistadt. Did you focus on the shadow or on the sky or on Fritz Fellner's house or did you even forget to focus? In the sky are traces from the light in direction to your camera - it must have been a festival for the sun when you opened the aperture for this single second ...
