Well, a volcano is rather unlikely since there has been no jet from any volcano to us at that time, but particles seem to be very likely. Particles of dust, sand, whatever, carried by the wind.

As about with wild flowers, thanks heavens the mountains around are a bit too hard to cultivate and divide in small gardens ;-)

Have a nice day,

Nick

I donīt know why the light gets this way. Maybe particles from a vulcano still moving about in the atmosphere or a combination of clouds and reflections on the ground?
Yes, itīs precious to have places where wild flowers are still allowed to grow instead of those big tacky cultivated flowers and green lawns without any life that are displayed so many places.
Take care
Annemette

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, Annemette! Indeed it was a very unusual light. I think it came due to a rather "diffuse" and yellowish cloud though which the sun was shining. BTW, what kind of cloud is that, that gives such a yellowish warm color? Any chances that it contained dust particles or something similar?

Anyway, I am glad that people in Hergiswil always leave more than enough space for wild plants, of which some photos will follow soon.

Take care too and have a nice holiday!

Nick

Oh here youīve caught the droplets shining under the Augustsun in a very special moody way. The clear foreground dissolving into a dreamy blurry background, Warm colours that make me want to go there and enjoy the wild flowers that are always so much more beautiful than the cultivated ones that do have their roots among the wild flora.
Take care, my friend
Annemette
