love the colors, however might have been just a tad better if you could get the full beak and chest. Since I raise birds I know that "stay, don't move" is not in vocabulary. Is is a great shot.

There is a "taste buds of colors" being felt in this image. This seems like a hard shot to find and you should be proud it was there for you. I don't find too many photos where there are so many colors represented in one nature shot.

Great eye for a shot Heather, I love the Photographs symetry. Crop a little to clear up where you straightened it. The curve is great! I hope you don't mind I did a crop on your shot and sharpened some details.

Heather this is a very nice image. I like the subject a lot and your perspective as well, the only thing I wonder about is the size of it, have you thought about maybe cropping it a bit, I think it would have more impact that way. I would take off most of the top and leaving of course the tree branch over his head, offering the frame...and move in from both sides, you could leave the trunk or take out a part of it, you'd have to look at that and decide which one you like better, and I would also crop out some of the foreground to bring it in closer...Just my opinion, this is a wonderful image, but again I think that would give it more impact...all the best...Linda
If you make the change and post it I'd love to see it...let me know..
