Elangovan. Thanks for the critique. It's the first time I've toyed with man-made borders (I prefer natural borders). Maybe I was just a little heavy handed with this one by trying to force it into a square image.

Eric, A nice portfolio. This one stood out from the rest. I agree with Timothy Ruff on the cropping although I'd go a stage further and square up the top and bottom parallels.

Great colours, good method and a wonderful capture.

Great image. Good tight tonal range. I feel that the inner squares should have been central in the image.

Exposure Bracketing ...

Wonderful composition though and I like the DoF.

Falls off chair. A wonderful, wonderful photo. I will only ever aspire to create something as beautiful.

Into the favourites without hesitation.

Great portrait. Pin sharp, lovely tones, and great catchlights. Wow!

Wonderful textures and good eye. The rest of you portfolio is wonderful too. Some great shapes and compositions.

Great shot, but I'm afraid I'm with Neil. A tighter crop would lift the whole image.

I like the high perspective which clears up the background really well. I can't help thinking that a slower shutter speed would have added more dynamism to the shot.

Great action shot though.

Great landscape Chris, but I'd lose the frame. It's too heavy for this shot and I don't think it actually needs anything to frame it.

Great street image. Did your camera get a little moist or were you indoors?

Unusual shot but shouldn't you have had your eyes on the road. Also, India is nowhere near the Atlantic.

I thought you said you had problems getting the exposure correct for his black coat. This is spot on!

Yet again, you hit the spot with a wonderful natural light shot. A beautiful moment well captured. I *may* have cropped a little tighter to draw the eye into the face more but that's just personal style. Great image of a great girl.

Great composition and use of light but I think the post processing has not done this image any favours.
