Too bad. I know it can be done because there was a discussion about it on one if the forums when they were still working. I have all my originals but all my favorites are in one place, USEFILM (sigh). So far I'm on page 6 of 37 downloading the images to my iPad. One. By. One,

Roger, I have no idea how to do that on Usefilm (or any other site, for that matter) other than manually retrieve all info. Hope Usefilm isn't the only place you stored your photos, though.

Hugo, if you know to download both photos and data, etc., from Usefilm as a comma delimited database or can point me to where I could find out, I'd be very grateful. I get no response from admin., and would hate to think that one day the site will just be history, along with over a thousand of my photos! Perish the thought...

PS I like this emotional photo. It seems they had other things on their mind than racing,

My friend, I'm so glad to see you and your work again, UF is nowadays a different world I'd say, but I guess it is still a good place to keep in touch with photographer friends around the world.

One thing haven't changed, I can comment only on feelings and emotions a photo triggers, not at all to on the technical side of it, for this it is a perfect match for the project, it is an outburst of emotions, full of energy, very powerful...

Cheers,
Verena

Hugo,

Now you have blown my cover three or four times with my real name so I have to be on my 'Best Behavior' ... if I want to of course and I will have the last say on that!:))

The Hoya CP was a lie indeed and therefore I thank you for the compliment.

My own 'Photography Turf' is being on this side of the World way out in the Middle of the Pacific to enjoy and relax in so you can keep the Front Page of this Site while I keep on shooting Real Estate Photography continously to make the Front AND Rear Pages of Magazines shooting Multi-Million Dollar Buildings and Residences here in Paradise ... Okay? Anyway, I wouldn't want to 'Burst Your Bubble' nor 'Sink Your Ship' because I don't really know how emotional you might get and then have to seek 'Psycho Social Counseling' ... You know what I mean ... Right?:))

Now that we have all the Bureaucratic Redtape out of the way let us get down to the 'Business' of this image of yours and I do call it 'Business' because of one of your remarks in the 'About' after the 'Ingrediants', but I'll get to that later ... Alright?

Just to keep you in suspense I am going to take a break now because my Brachial Plexis is killing me and I don't want to time out on what I have already written if that is okay with you medically and I'm already up to 1,355 Characters anyway.

I'll be back ...

My apologies, Mr. Douglas Coffey, I won't call you Dougy, or Mate. Just Mr. Douglas Coffey. Won't happen again.

To kindly respond to your concerns:

1. Please do so. Or better, put that hoya CP on Ebay. you don't need it; you're better than a filter on any lens.

2. Sure. Perhaps you could trade in that hoya CP filter for my spot?

I think you forgot to put in a "3.", and forgive me to reply anyway. I'm not a vegetarian, and I'm sure Nr. 5400 isn't alive anymore, But wasn't she a beauty of a cow?

Mr. Douglas Coffey, Please understand, that I don't really mind how you rate this image. I'm just curious what You think the "grand finale" will be :)?

Cheers,

Hugo

Second P.S. For some reason I have this feeling that you are going to 'Cop Out' on your side of the deal because you now know you have to 'Flee the Country' over that poor cow ...

I am not your 'Mate' because I am very happily married to a most beuatiful 'Well Behaved' Japanese Lady for the longest time now!>)

1. I more than fit the shoe and can fill the whole 'Boot'! Really ... The 'Toning' of my image then I better throw away that $165.00 Hoya Polarizer ... What a waste of funds!((:

2. Don't be surprised by yet another 'Front Page' exposure because that is your 'Home Ground' you purchased long ago with all your 'Kharma Points' ... Right? ;)

So that gets us to real 'Mutual Critiques' ... sounds great, but I wish you were a vegetarian or did you 'just' kill #5400? I hope not of course or that you at least reported it to the Korps Landelijke Politiediensten for God's sake!

P.S. I still haven't rated this image by the way because that is resrved for the 'Grand Finale'! :))

Hey Mate,

1. Do you fit that shoe? I was referring to the toning of your image.

2. Am I on the front page? cool!

Mate, do give me the pleasure of a real critique. I will provide you with one in kind. The cow has already been killed :)

Continue at will, matey!

Okay ...

Here I go 'Ole Buddy'

1. Since you have commented on an image of mine just today that wasn't a critique at all in any way, but a 'Warning' of some sorts and because ...

2. You are on the Front Page today with 'PHOTO OF THE DAY' after a tremendously long absence having contributed nothing to this Site for along while, but which I do Congratulate you on.

So, ... are you ready for a real critique in every way? I thought so because you are just that kind of guy knowing that I 'Shoot from Hip' in a B&W way knowing very well that the 'Grey' is not safe, although I promise not too kill the cow ... Alright?:))

May I continue after that most honest 'Intro' ... ?

Wow!!! Breathtaking image!! Congratulations on the award, very most deserving. Two years ago, I went to Oregon and Washington for a photo shoot, and one that topped my list was Mt. Ranier. It never showed itself since it was always covered in the clouds the whole time I was there. I've seen many shots of the mountain at this lake, but none as beautiful as this one. Outstanding work, A Perfect 7++++

Cheers, and the very best of wishes to you....... Mike
