Thanks! Normally I don't do black and white flower photos, actually this was a first and was only done for the B&W flower project. As I stated in a comment to someone recently I would much rather see flower photos in color. IMO flowers were meant to show off their beautiful colors and the beautiful greenery around them, whereas a lot of other subjects don't rely on color for their beauty and some actually look better in black and white. But that is my opinion and everyone may see it differently. BTW, here's the color version of this photo.

Mr. Arrey, this may look artificial, but the only thing that is really artificial about it is the background. Everything right down to the two petals laying off to the side was real. The only reason I changed the background, which I left pretty much the same color as the original, was due to the distracting lines in the fabric. Here's the original with just a bit of cropping and resizing.

Great clarity and sharpness. Some of the white areas of the flower seem blown out, but this actually seems to work in favor of the total effect, which is slightly abstract. Wonderful. And the water drops are a nice touch.
