Hey Avi,
always fine to read that one of my UF friends starts to like my production:)
Pathbreaking? Hmmm not really, wish it was my idea but it isn't. Bought last week an old Kodak Duaflex II on Ebay and googled afterwards for a instruction manual for it. There I stumbled on a group that creates images just like this.
Just got hooked, but the technique is not really street-friendly tending to draw the attention on yourself.
Perhaps you could give it a go yourself?

an you did a great job for sure, but you can correct blue fringing easily in PS (CS3); I'm not a perfectionist at all but if you would like to enlarge the image and print (or sell) you couldn't do that
anyway, imperfections apart I love it

Hello txules,
always nice to see that my photo's are well looked at.
You are correct about the blue fringing, but that is how it came out of the box. This image was shot with my D80 through the viewfinder of a Kodak Duaflex II from approx. 1955. In that point of view I chose to leave the imperfections as they were in order to recreate how a photo of those would have looked like.
