About 'k something new for me - got the chance to work with some dancers the other day and boy was it challenging : the speed of the actions was difficult enough but there were feet and legs all over the place and the lights were a pain to work with so as you can imagine a lot of removal work went into this shot to clean it up :( caught her halfway through a kind of 360 spin in all directions which made me dizzy just to look at but happy that i caught her facing the camera - would appreciate any feedback and critiscism as this is a whole new subject area for me :)

Fabulous capture Stu, I thought it was a picture of me at first that my friend may have captured when I slipped and fell on a muddy bank lol

Looks super in B&W and I am so pleased it wasn't me ;-)

Best wishes,
Steve

I remember the beginning of 1980s, It was very popular. And the soundtrack of Flashdance "what a feeling" There were many breakdancers in that movie clip.
Good shot on good timing my friend!
Congratulations!

You did well to catch her in this one, Stu! The shot is sharp and well composed. Is it possible to rig up some light or bounce it, to get rid of the background shadow?
Dave.

Hehehe...this is great. I love the positioning of the leg shadow. Makes it seem almost abstract as a third leg.

The BW is good however a little flat in some of the tones in the background and her face.
