A BIP... is a BIP! ;-)
This is really agressive like Hugo says... The contrasts, the way the "opposite" sides, upper and lower, complement each other... The clear sky! (my sony can't achieve this blue without tons of magenta grain...)
Congrats for the BIP!
;)

Good eye Brad to spot the shot right under our noses and know how to compose it to create a great picture as this-congrats on the BIP!

Heey, this is GREAT! So well composed to look really interesting, and the colours look so nice! Best of all though, the playing with light and shadows!

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought it was the keys on a piano -- at first. Really strong graphics, the nails are a perfect touch!

Hi Brad,
very good work. The details on the nails are the cherry on the cake. I hope that also in english there's the same way to say!

Hi Brad. Interesting angle again - something you're really good at discovering.

When I first saw this, I thought 'piano' ...know what I mean? Maybe not, I think some silly things sometimes.

Hi Bradley, Very agressive shot; with the rusty nails and the heavy shadows; like fangs from a snakes' mouth. Excellent composition; using the diagonals beautifully. Very impressive.

Cheers,

Hugo

hi brad,

50 degrees... ? fahrenheit? =)

like the diagonals here, as I'm an diagonal addict. Thought about a bw version with a higher focus on the shadows, but you're probably right in NOT converting the image: the sky rocks too much in this case.

well done.

Wow Brad, what a fantastic rich blue sky. The lighting is excellent and perfect shadows too. Looks like an unbelievable clear summer day. If you flip up, not off :--), the hidden part of those planks, do the nails slam down and turn out the light. I don't know why I thought of that.

Good photo Brad - lovely perspective.

Not sure if I mentioned (lost track of who I have told) ... hope to be over again next June (4th-10th) all being well. Might "HAVE" to pop over to Service Photo and pick up a 20D :-)

Best wishes,
Steve

Mate if we showed up at the same party I fear we'd be wearing the same dress if you know what I mean. I mean I mean our portfolios plants/plants wood/wood storms/storms...
mind you this has lots of heat. which aint the same as my last, though I was going for dry.
great sky.... (been trying to capture one for a couple of days now...:)
